This playlist, co-created with DJ Geno Shelton, accompanies Week 4 of Pastor Janae's preaching series, "Pandemic Playlist: Psalms for a People in Exile" preached at Light of the World Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN.  In Psalm 89, the exiled Israelites remind us that in the community of the faithful, there is room for praise and lament.  We can tell the truth about God and the truth about our situation.  God's reputation will not ruin.  Each psalm is a window into the exiled Israelite's grief journey.  We can use Elisabeth Kubler Ross's 5 Stages of Grief as a guide:  Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.  The Good News is we're gonna be alright!
